plants, plants, plants….
Hey! I’m Kristina, owner of Plantiful Plant Care. I serve the greater Asheville area and am here to nurture your indoor plants to their full potential. You might have seen me working in the houseplant section at Painters Greenhouse down in Old Fort. Having lush, healthy plants indoors makes a profound positive impact in mental and physical health. If the plants are happy, the people are happy!
When it comes to plants, preventative efforts hold a lot of worth. For instance, thoroughly cleaning plants off at the first sign of pests is far less work than trying to contain an infestation in a home or garden. As such, timely pruning allows for the redirection of energy to foster new growth and benefit the entire plant. Plants have much to teach in the way of life lessons, and I’m excited to share what I’ve learned along the way.
The concept for Plantiful began on my front porch in Black Mountain one early spring evening in 2023. My husband and I were brainstorming workshops I could teach and services I can provide. Since then, I have been on the path to bring top notch plant care to homes and businesses. Indoor plants truly are a game changer for the atmosphere and one’s personal wellbeing. Plants have changed my life and I hope they will change yours too!

Ideally every 6-8 months, or when new growth has not appeared in over 6 weeks during the growing season (March-September), or when the plant roots are growing out of the bottom of the planter signaling that it’s time to move up to the next size pot. Repotting happens less frequently, if at all, during the dormant months.
